... And Who Is Monica? ...

I was born and raised in San Leandro, California.  I grew up in the same house my mother grew up in.  I graduated 1986 from San Leandro High School.  (Just had my 20 year reunion!  WOW)

I have a younger brother who is married to my wonderful sister-in-law with one little one - Megan.

I have a sister and two wonderful neices - Tashina and Keshia.

We have four children ages 19, 17, 16 and 13  The most wonderful spirits that I get to share life with.

I am married to my longtime friend and soul mate, Daniel Ford.  We had been "seeing" eachother so to speak since November of 2004 and just couldn't seem to shake the feeling of wanting to be together.  Thus, the two people in the world who said they would never get married again... got married.  We are fully prepared to live together happilly ever after.

We own our home in Discovery Bay, California near the delta and a townhouse in San Leandro. 

I am at a wonderful time in my life.  Since I hit 30 years old I can honestly say I have been so happy and looking forward to my life ahead of me.  Maybe retiring to an old farmhouse on acreage somewhere outside of California with a BIG wrap around porch.  You know, alot of people want that.  

My birthday is 2/17 and I'm VERY aquarius.  If you don't know what that means, I'm always seeing the better side of things, always hopeful, and always wondering what more there is to life that I can contribute to.
