Who You Are

Sometimes songs hit you like a bolt of lightening.  Songs that take your breath away because what they are saying and the music – it fits your soul perfectly.

This one came on the radio loud – and I actually cried so hard it hurt.

Ever had that happen?

I had to pull over until I could stop crying.

This song, for me, right now – hits me as deep as my soul has buried itself.

Edit – the artist is Lunatica and the album is “The Edge of Infinity”

Loreena McKennitt – The Mystics Dream

I’ve listened to this when I go to sleep and I love it.  It’s 7 mins, but beautiful music if you are so inclined at the moment.

Done Reading a Book – “Wicked”

Wicked By Gregory Maquire

Wicked By Gregory Maquire

I just got done reading “Wicked” by Gregory Maguire.

It’s the other side of the Wizard of Oz, the witches side.  What was the Wicked Witch of the West like?  Why was she so wicked anyway?  Better yet, was she?

This is a really good book and shows the OTHER side of the story.  I couldn’t put it down, seriously.

Not a paid ad btw, if you enjoy reading… this is a good one.  He’s written a few more books that I’d like to read as well.

They do have the musical coming to San Francisco, and my friend and I are drooling to go see it!  Neat site for the musical as well.  Wicked the Musical.

Some fun wallpaper, buddy icons and ringtones – ya gotta have em!  Here at Wicked the Musical – Downloads.

My personal favorite is Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West.  Glinda, well… read the book!  ;)

There’s nothing like reading a good book.  I can’t tell you how many I read in a year, I believe I need another room in the house for a library… really.  ;)

Love and Light,

Mon

Kooza! (Cirque Du Soleil)

Kooza arrived in San Francisco and we were sure to be there.  Tickets are ofcourse sold out throughout the shows from what I was told.   My husband is always one to be sure he is alerted when it’s coming our way so we had ours no troubles.

Have you ever seen a Cirque Du Soleil show?

I can sum it up in one word as corny as that sounds, I’m not joking:  WOW

“Wow” is what I always find myself repeatedly saying in those shows.  Would you like to have a glimpse?  You can check out the show at The Cirque Du Soleil Kooza site.

Let’s just say they keep you absolutely enthralled.  It is a circus of sorts, with the big top etc.  However, it is QUITE a different circus to be sure.  Oh, and the music is the kind that will take your heart and do with it as it pleases depending on the performance at the time.

They are travelling the US for a bit, and I’m sure they have outside venues as well out of the states.  It originates from Canada I do believe.  ;)

Meanwhile, here’s a photo of our sons, my hubby and me.  (L-R James, Stephen, Daniel, Me, Daniel J).  The boys had a blast as well!

Def Leppard / Styx / Foreigner Concert!

Tomorrow we are off to see three of my total 80s favorite bands!  Whoo Hooo!  They are playing at the Usana Amphitheatre in Utah.  We’ll be hanging out with friends out on the "green".  Rock on!
