A Tuesday Group Of Thoughts
Interestingly, all day I thought of things randomly and I then thought "Oh, I must blog on that". So here I am, blogging via my ScribeFire for Firefox. ![]()
Firstly, I downloaded FeedDemon v.2.7. It’s very helpful for me because there are so many folks I enjoy reading, but clicking through bookmarks is a smidge tedious and I always forget someone. That’s NOT the kinda bloggy friend I’d like to be. So, my review? I wish I had a way of easilly sending my comments through – but opening the post in the browser is perfectly fine. I give it a thumbs up, I’ve tried many many others and it’s too clunky for me. I’m the "wanna do it QUICK and clean" when it comes to the internet. ![]()
Secondly, driving home from a clients – I noticed the folks that had their windows down. What exactly did I notice? Every single ONE of the cars that had windows down today carried a poor soul that was red faced and covered in sweat. It actually took me a moment to answer the question in my head "why is everyone sweating?". I have air conditioning – they don’t, or aren’t using it. The outside temp my car was reading? 111 degrees. I wish I could have thrown them a juice bar. The rest of the ride home, I felt bad for having air conditioning. ![]()
Thirdly, going through my wonderful feeds in my new desktop reader I happened upon this news "Study looks at Golden Gate Bridge suicide barrier". I must have blinked twice at this one. According to the "Orange County Register" there is an average of two dozen or so suicides off that bridge. So they are looking at different ways of making the bridge harder to jump from and die. Why is it our society goes for the band aid approach more than not? There are many many mentally ill folks out there with no one to assist. How about we spend the $50M or so in assisting them to NOT wanna jump! Sometimes I just feel like we are so backwards.
I think the next week from tomorrow through next Tuesday I will be doing a day of thanks. Each day will be a post about something I’m thankful for. Join me and let me know your thoughts during the week.
…. another thought – my buddy Tess – I cannot get your feed to work …
Okay, over and out scout!

Ballerina and her Chalky Dance
During the San Rafeal Art Street Painting Festival – there were children coloring on the street with chalk. When then were done, some were quite messy. But still beautiful.
This little ballerina didn’t mind the chalk on her little hands and feet at all and decided it would be just as nice to dance.
I did ask her momma if I could take this photo for my blog – she was kind enough to share her ballerina with me and with you.
Oh to be young.
