Whoot!  A New Theme!

I had fun creating this one.    Hope you enjoy.  I should keep it for a bit.

I get so bored off of the look of my site.  My humblest apologies.

So – the whole house other than my Marine kid is sick.  I wasn’t up until tonight and I’m feeling it sneak on!

Work is work – it’s tax season so it’s busy as all get out for those of us that tote calculators.  I’m hoping I can get everyone taken care of in time!

I contacted the local Blue Star Mothers of America chapter and I’m pretty excited about going to their meeting tomorrow.  I’m excited to assist in service.  They volunteer quite a bit locally with the vets, wounded soldier’s and families of military personnel.  Since a part of my heart is in the Marines and a part of my heart is in the Army – well, it will feel good to give to those that serve.  They’ve given quite a bit themselves.

Let me know if you like the theme!  It was done with Artisteer and a bit of Photoshop and Digital Scrapbook *stuff*.  It was kinda fun!

Okay – time for me to go night night all.

Last year we saw Kooza ~

I read all of the books.  They certainly aren’t my favorite.  I think though that the movie is entertaining though.

Oh it’s been a full week.  I’m on Facebook playing FarmVille thanks to SUSAN!  LOL  Thanks honey… my cow thanks you.  oh, and my chicken and my bunny wabbit.

Yup, I’m having fun.

Washed my car, had my dad over this weekend and made a friend.  Good weekend to be sure and I’m very thankful.

Now, off to do the clothes!    The cow will have to wait…

This seems to be video 4 in my series this week.

I’m very much looking inside of myself right now – thus all of the sappy videos.

I am so grateful for my family.  I am so grateful for my friends.  I am so grateful for my life.

This video is called “How Could Anyone” by Shaina Noll.  This brings a lump to my throat for a number of reasons.  One, and foremost it reminds me of my sister and how much I love her.  We were out of touch for over 10 years.  We found each other luckilly again and made amends for what we don’t even remember being an issue.

Most of what I discuss here on my blog is of the “light”.  Well, without darkness there can be no light.  The two flow together.  The symbol most are used to that depicts this is the Taijitu.

While I’m going through struggles currently, I find myself more attracted to the night.  Which, seems to bring in another form of music for me as well.

This video is one I can’t seem to stop listening to.  I warn you, Godsmack isn’t a lovey dovey band – so don’t be shocked please.  I just get to put out there what I’m currently in right now. I listen to so many different types of music, but thought I’d put a video or two up of what I’m enjoying lately.

These are a bit close to my heart it seems.

My handsome boy is home.  This momma is happy.  Albiet a bit nervous, but hey – who wouldn’t be?  He’s doing very well and very happy to come home.

I had a surprise party on my Birthday.  I will tell you all about it when I get the photos.  It’s amazing what my hubby can do getting it all together and I had no idea!

I’m finding myself really enjoying going to work.  I enjoy those I work with and the work I do.  Very nice.

I just saw the movie “Eagle Eye”. Has anyone seen that? Oh my goodness! Fun! So I thought I’d give a few vids of things I enjoy!
