Whoot!  A New Theme!

I had fun creating this one.    Hope you enjoy.  I should keep it for a bit.

I get so bored off of the look of my site.  My humblest apologies.

So – the whole house other than my Marine kid is sick.  I wasn’t up until tonight and I’m feeling it sneak on!

Work is work – it’s tax season so it’s busy as all get out for those of us that tote calculators.  I’m hoping I can get everyone taken care of in time!

I contacted the local Blue Star Mothers of America chapter and I’m pretty excited about going to their meeting tomorrow.  I’m excited to assist in service.  They volunteer quite a bit locally with the vets, wounded soldier’s and families of military personnel.  Since a part of my heart is in the Marines and a part of my heart is in the Army – well, it will feel good to give to those that serve.  They’ve given quite a bit themselves.

Let me know if you like the theme!  It was done with Artisteer and a bit of Photoshop and Digital Scrapbook *stuff*.  It was kinda fun!

Okay – time for me to go night night all.

I get to have family over today.

James left for USMC boot camp on 12/7 – so it feels weird.

But, Merry Christmas! Next year I’ll have a new Grand Baby to celebrate with too!

By the way……. the old Star Trek, through the new ones – my most favorite and *dreamy* character was Spock.  Heh.

Well, our ever so wonderful President has declared an emergency over the H1N1.  Anyone besides me wondering what the heck that’s all about?  No one is gonna get me to take a brand new vaccine.  Folks are getting it in droves.  Perhaps a time period to test it would be a GREAT idea!  But alas…. I digress.

Trying to ban Divorce in Califonia will only up the murder rate.  In my humblest opinion.  Who the HECK thought of that one.  That’s it, the country has gone wacko.  Wait.  The state has gone wacko.  Heck, I guess we were already there!

Had a GREAT time with Daniel today.  We went to the Star Trek exhibit in San Jose.  Quite nice, but we are spoiled by the Las Vegas convention and the Hilton visits when the had the Star Trek stuff.

So….. what’s old Granny doing today?  (*cough*)  I’m workin.  Just had to type and say HI!  And vent on the strangeness of our times.  Thanks for listening.
