I Miss My Babies
I got some letters from him in the past few days. His attitude is very good! But – momma is fallin’ fast. I have one in the military basic training, one child on her way to being a momma and another child 6 months away from High School Graduation.
What now? Each day I got up it was for my kids. I know that isn’t how it should be – but we had some very hard financial times for many many years. The only thing holding me together and focused alot of times were my babies. The laughter, the running around – the neighbors kids bolting through the house screaming with mine.
It’s too quiet. It’s scary. Time flies by too quickly. I miss my babies….

aw….you make me sad! I have 3 kids grown and on their own, and 3 little ones at home. I understand how you feel…my daughter is 12, my boys 5 and 3, and yet I am already sad at how fast they are growing and know soon enough they will be out the door too. Sniff. And hugs.

Oh my goodness…my little boy (just over 3 months old) slept in his own room last night instead of in our room in the bassinet. I was SOOOOOOOOO sad and realized that he’s already moving away from me. *sniff*

Awe I was just thinking of you and your son and how he was doing in boot camp! I am feeling those missing moments with you Monica! My baby is turning 18 in May, graduating June 12th, and talking about his future plans, and I sit here falling apart at the thought of it. Thank you so much for the comment Susan! It’s been so darned strange! Stephen is getting ready to graduate and I already feel the “pull” away from Momma. ARGH! Funny how those late nights and babies crying are something we miss after all. Keep blogging friend. the less I blog the more I lose myself to this insanity!
It’s just a matter of getting use to the change from the norm of so many years. I will have to face this too soon should my son decides to shift out when he’s more independent.
