Russian Spam
Anyone else getting spam in Russian? I think it’s Russian… LOL
Not sure what they want. At least use the language of the blog eh? Although, I love to mingle with other folks in other countries… just not spam.
So, are you getting funny Russian?

Yes, I’m getting Russian spam. I copy and paste it into one of those translator websites and it’s usually the equivalent of “you’ve got a nice blog here” which is, of course, spam and gets marked as such.
Askimet does a poor job of catching it.
I was thinking of getting it translated… but since you already did, and that’s more than likely what it said – I’m felling fine about marking spam!
lol. Not yet. Not when I had wordpress before either! That’s so strange, don’t they have better things to do?
LOL Penny! Not sure what is the psychological makeup of a spammer. Might be close to a homicidal person, but doesn’t do it because they are too afraid to come out of the house.
OR – they just like ya and leave little notes, albiet spam.
Either way… I get confused!
I haven’t gotten the Russian spam yet, but I got lots and lots of Chinese spam!

I’m getting Chinese spam all the time – too bad I speak Mandarin!
Just delete it… 99%, if at least a few words of the message are not in the blog’s language (I mean, we can all say “hi”, right?), it’s certified spam.
