Wicked By Gregory Maquire
I just got done reading “Wicked” by Gregory Maguire.
It’s the other side of the Wizard of Oz, the witches side. What was the Wicked Witch of the West like? Why was she so wicked anyway? Better yet, was she?
This is a really good book and shows the OTHER side of the story. I couldn’t put it down, seriously.
Not a paid ad btw, if you enjoy reading… this is a good one. He’s written a few more books that I’d like to read as well.
They do have the musical coming to San Francisco, and my friend and I are drooling to go see it! Neat site for the musical as well. Wicked the Musical.

My personal favorite is Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. Glinda, well… read the book! 
There’s nothing like reading a good book. I can’t tell you how many I read in a year, I believe I need another room in the house for a library… really.

Yeah, I haven’t read them yet either… I’m sure it won’t be around the holidays though. Who’d have time?!
I enjoyed that book as well. I have yet to read his other books, although it is on my list of reads!

I loved the book and the music for the musical is awesome. Since I don’t live in NY, I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m holding out for the move…if they ever make one, or the dya the tourcomes down this way…lol

I saw the Wwast End version of ‘Wicked’ in London two weeks ago. It was literally spellbinding.

I am a huge huge fan of the Wizard of Oz and yet I have never heard of these books, how did I miss them?? AAAAHHHH but now I have a few ideas for Christmas gifts since my dad who I am caregiver for is asking me for a list now!!
