Three years ago, when he turned 16 he was sent home and many times his mother had to call the police because he was out of control. He had been on medication and his mother finally decided to take him off the medication and in so doing she began to see an improvement in his behavior. He is 19 now and doing well. He still has some anger issues but is able to talk it out. I've spent countless hours with him just talking. I'm not implying that medication is not good because I'm sure in the majority of cases it is needed and does help.
