I got this idea from “Designing Hilary” as she thanks her commenters by giving a post with their names and their websites. This assists in some areas of popularity for folks’ blogs. The other side to this is publicly thanking those that have taken a moment of their time to contribute to your thoughts, ideas, photos… etc. It’s something I personally am very greatful for.
I’m going to piggy back onto “Designing Hilary“‘s wonderful idea and thank all of those that commenting on my *stuff* and making me feel “luved”

Finally … I have a moment. Thank you so much for your input! Maybe this could be a start of a whole new movement in the blogging world.
I see people thanking their “Top 10″ droppers for Entrecard, but most are just “bouncing.” To me, those that actually read one’s blogs are deserving of a show of gratitude. And those who advertise too. I’ve asked the Entrecard guys to figure out a way we can pull up the history of advertisers. In the meantime, I’ve started keeping track as they are in the queue.
Traffic is nice, but high bounce rates don’t help rankings. Stickiness and backlinks are what helps the blogger.
(Gee, I guess I’ve just sorta fleshed out my next post! *lol*)

@Hilary: You had a wonderful idea. The bounce rate is pretty high with a drop and run. The reason I started with EC is to find blogs that I would enjoy and perhaps others would enjoy mine.
