And it's not because he doesn't understand or isn't smart enough. It's because he forgets to turn things in and isn't organized. I've done lots of shouting, grounding and punishing, and I just told him he gets no birthday party if he gets a D in English. The term ends this Friday, and I'm just so relieved to be having it OVER (as I'm sure he is, too). It's too late to save this terms grade, but I'm hoping for a better outcome next term. <br/><br/>Just keep on loving him. and I'll do the same. My son is really struggling in school right now, too.
