Trip to Aunty Pat’s
This weekend we
went to my Aunt’s place in Palo Cedro, CA. She owns 20+ acres up
there and a house. It’s really amazing to be up there because
it’s so darned relaxing! Okay, and hot. It was 110 degrees in
the shade. Really. So we stayed inside quite a
bit.
Driving up
there was fun as it was me, Daniel, and the boys (Stephen, Daniel and
James). They were singing to whatever, playing PSP games, and had
the DVD player hooked up to the audio so we got to hear Star Wars quite
CLEARLY! Oh, and a ton of laughter. That’s what I like the
best.
I thought it might be difficult because I’ve stopped smoking last
week and my Aunt smokes. But I gotta tell you, it didn’t bother me
at all. Whooo Hoooo!
On the smoking front:
I have been quit for 6 Days,
21 hours, 16 minutes and 14 seconds (6 days). I have saved $39.58 by
not smoking 137 cigarettes. I have saved 11 hours and 25 minutes of my
life. My Quit Date: 7/18/2005 11:47 AM
Daniel’s flowers that he bought me
are doing very well. Everytime I look at them I smile.
Can I just say
I’m more in love every day? It’s a wonderfully strange feeling to
be like this. I wake up at night and look at him while he’s
sleeping. It’s almost like I’m checking to make sure I’m not still
dreaming. Love you babe.
As for the kids this weekend, Jessica had to
go to her Great Grand Father’s funeral.
Fred was a really
neat person. He’s the one that taught me the nickle machines at
Vegas. Wonderful man that his family and friends will miss alot I
know.
The three boys were with us up at Aunty Pat’s and had a great
time. James was mostly with Uncle Tim shooting things (no stress, it
was a pellet rifle), Stephen stayed with his PSP game mostly, and Daniel
J was running around doing all of the above. Oh, and Meghan, my
brother’s little one stuck by Daniel J quite a bit. She would
follow him around during hide and go seek, etc. Too cute.
If you’d like
to see the photos, they are under "Aunty Pat’s" on the left
side.
One of my personal favorites is the picture I’ve included on here of
Daniel J sleeping with a cowboy hat.
I didn’t get to spend alot of
time with my brother Tim this time, but I’m sure next time.
It
seemed like a complete family with Daniel with me. I haven’t felt
that in over 10 years. Thank you sweetheart. I love
you.
Until
next time…
