My Christmas was absolutely awesome.  It was our first
Christmas together and in the morning the kids were unwrapping their
presents.  It took Daniel and I three hours to wrap everyone’s presents this
year.  It was a good time.

Then, I opened mine… Daniel
got me a watch (NICE!) and an Eqyptian figurine of Bast.  I was
happy as a clam – to be honest!  My watches are totally dead and I
haven’t had one in years.  As for Bast – she’s one of my favorite
Goddesses.  So Daniel opened his – tool box thingy (heck, I dunno -
but it looked good!).  He then proceeds to run upstairs mentioning
he has another present.

I’m watching the kids and totally don’t
think a thing of it.. he comes down the stairs and on one knee next to
me hands me a beautiful cherry wood box.  The box in no way looks
like a ring box because it’s longer.  PLUS and this is important -
I didn’t expect, think, or even entertain the thought of him proposing
this year at all!  So he has me open the box, still on one knee,
and the kids in the room went completely silent… there’s an indication
of SOMETHING is up.

I opened the box and I swear for about 5
seconds it didn’t register what I was looking at!  I looked at him
then back to the box and realized what I was looking at was an egagement
ring AND the band.  He had bought the complete set.  And OH
they were BEAUTIFUL!  I’m sure I started getting teary eyed then…
he asked me to marry him and I said yes!

HE PROPOSED ON
CHRISTMAS MORNING!  How awesome is that?!  He’s always been one for
surprises… this one topped them all.

The rings are
beautiful.  And I’m giddy as all heck.

I for one, got what I wanted
for Christmas… the man I love.   I hope you got everything you
wished for!

hee hee – I haven’t even
started.  Oy vey. 

Work is extreme lately. 
Family is well.  There just seems like there isn’t enough time to do
everything this time of year.  I can’t wait for the holiday’s to
be over!

We had a fun time yesterday – all 6 of us!  We went to Dave and Busters a game/restaurant place in Milpitas.  The kids had a great time playing games and collecting tickets.  Talk about a LOT of kids!  Places like that are great for kids, but have parents sometimes trying to re-count heads to see which kid they need to go look for.  Hee hee. 

Daniel and I were waiting on the Star Trek game (2 player) but someone was having a great old time playing and wasn’t gonna give up!  Food was okay, and having the kids playing and yelling always makes it worth while.

Christmas is coming and I have -0- shopping done.  ARGH!  I haven’t had much time to do anything really.  Work is too much right now.

Okay, there’s my update.  We are still alive – just busy.

It’s Turkey time!    That time of the year we go with
family and eat until we can’t fit another thing in our mouthes! 
Whoo Hooo!

We are going to Daniel’s parents this
Thanksgiving.  That’s something new!  In new relationships, there is always
something new to explore.  So Thanksgiving with his family. 
Yeah!

I’ve not
blogged for awhile and probobly won’t for a bit as I’m busy as heck with
work!  Trying to keep everything on the up and up.   
I’m sick as heck – but getting better.  Blech.

I went to work at 7:30 AM yesterday (Saturday) and left about 2
PM.  Today, I was here about the same time 7:30 AM and probobly won’t
leave until late.  I’m short staffed (to say the least) and I’m
pulling my HAIR out.

Daniel and I are doing great.  It is
AWESOME to have him in my life.  I am thankful each day.

It
is almost Halloween!  Whoo Hoo!  We have little Daniel so
we’ll definately be trick or treating!  Oh, I’m a witch. 
Hey!  Don’t agree so quickly!  It’s my Halloween Costume. 
I’ll take pics of everyone and put them up.

This past weekend Daniel moved to a point of 75% in.  It was
me, him, his brother, and my brother and one big truck. 

His HUGE tv is now resting quietly (haven’t hooked it up yet) in my
living room and everything else is just boxing now.

Wow, can it
be?  I get to have the man of my dreams?    Amazing. 
Love you Handsome.

As for girly stuff, I went to my meeting
last week and have to miss it already this week!  Argh!  For
anyone that hasn’t gone to a Mary Kay event – they are a blast and
completely pick you up!  The group I go to is absolutely awesome. 
It’s like having many many sisters!  Good sisters!  Not the
ones that steal your stuff!  Hee hee.

Oh my goodness. Now I can honestly say I’m SO stressed out.
Actually, funny part about that is that I work MUCH better under stress.
Terrible isn’t it? Yes, I know… what do you do in the down times? I try to
get organized. Only, there isn’t any down times where I work. So, my
desk is a mess and people probobly think I’m the messiest Controller
around. Papers strewn everywhere etc. etc. Sad case actually. I’ll get
there. I need to spend some quality time there on the weekends or
something.

So… that’s work. Sigh. I do like my company very much.
And I enjoy my work. It’s just one of those things… it will get better.
Anyone know of a local Accounting Clerk in need of employment? Let me
know…

So, the kids are back in school after a 2 week
break. Very good thing. I don’t think my poor house was going to handle it
much longer. Actually, they are getting better at chores – but they do
have a bit to go.

Daniel has officially moved his kitchen and
it’s entirety (no, the fridge and the stove stayed!) to the house now. I
happen to like all of his kitchen tools etc., so out to Goodwill mine
went! Yeah! Nice pots! Funny part was trying to figure out how between
the two of our houses we got 4-6 of alot of the spices and such. LOL Oh
well, we’ll see. I love baking so all of the baking stuff he has is
PERFECT! Thanks honey! You are the "bomb".

This weekend
we arranged the garage so that his motorcycle and his S2000 are snug in
the 3 car garage next to my Mustang. Wow. Now that was amazing and was
another trip to Goodwill! You should have SEEN how much went to the
little trailer in town. I could get a whole other household running!

This weekend we are renting a truck and taking the balance of the
furniture over here. At that point, he’s fully in. I know this is a huge
move for both of us – and the kids – thank goodness it feels so right.

So I’m working and then all of a sudden it seems like your breath is
a bit taken away and the walls seem to suddenly go in and then out and
then BOOM!

Daniel and
I drove up to Lake Tahoe this past weekend for a night to
ourselves.  It was wonderful!  The drive up there was really relaxing
(okay for me as I wasn’t driving).  The scenery is georgeous.  I
have pics ofcourse and will upload when I get a chance to
breathe. 

On Sunday we had a birthday party for my best friend Dawn’s 5
year old Marissa!   Dawn got this huge jumper and it took up
alot of the back yard.  My brother, sister-in-law, neice, mom and her
significant other were all there!  Not to mention Daniel, Daniel
J, Jimmy and Stephen.  I think ALL of us except my mom and her
other went in there.  FUN FUN!  Great food, great company… just
a LOT of fun.  Ofcourse I have pics!  Soon to follow. 
Hee hee.

I won $280 in Tahoe.  That was neato as I don’t normally
win a thing!  I think it was thanks to the Dilbert machine and the
$1 slot machine.  Hee hee.

Daniel is doing great, and it’s funny
how I can’t remember anything without him.  October 1 was our 3
month anniversary.  Too funny.  Like a school kid counting
months.  LOL But hey, when you are happy just go with it.
